Crowley Lake California

September 26, 2014 § 1 Comment

We experienced our first real wind storm yesterday here between the Sierras and the Inyo mountains.  Everything was covered with wind blown grit.  Otherwise the skies are cloudless blue and our solar panel works great.  It’s now a beautiful morning.

This is a pleasant campground by the Bureau of Land Management.  The sites are well separated but not quite level gravel and sand.  But what can you expect for $2.50 per night with our seniors discount.  We get excellent TV from stations in Reno NV 175 miles away.  They must have a repeater somewhere around here.  Our phone/internet is 4G with 5 bars.
