Table Rock Lake

The terrain here is just rolling enough to present beautiful vistas and winding roads.
The visitor center at the dam was interesting.
But the highlight of the day was the fish hatchery down the road from the visitor center at the foot of the dam.
They raise all kinds of trout for stocking the state lakes.
We drove through parts of near by Branson Missouri but to really experience the town one probably has to go to the shows and we don’t like to go out at night. So we will leave that experience to the younger folks.
A visit to the campus of College of the Ozarks near Branson was interesting. We toured the displays and shops in the main public building which houses the hotel and restaurants.
The grounds around the parking lots were well kept and flowering.
The campground we are staying at – Cricket Creek – is a very nice small campground up hill from one of the lake’s marinas.
