Rain, rain, rain!
We are in Champaign IL regrouping and visiting and seeing our medical professionals to make sure we are still alive. It has rained almost everyday since we got here.
We were originally from the tri-city area of Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy IL when we went full time so it’s natural to continue with the same medical professionals at Carle Hospital /Clinic.
Carle has continually modernized over the years.
Today we were amazed with Peg’s mamogram. It was painless (almost) and we read the results on our own interactive Internet page ‘MyCarle’ within an hour including the doctor’s comments: ‘Hi Peg! Your mamogram is normal. Laura.’
Of course not everything goes that smoothly but generally it’s a slick operation.
This is the main campus. There are satellite campuses around Central Illinois. We see our primary physicians at the Savoy facility and our specialists at the main facility.
Each is easily accessible from our site at D&W Lake just north of Champaign. This is our back yard.
We’ve had some dry weather where we could sit and eat out with our Gregg and Genia who live in Urbana. Hopefully, there be a lot more nice weather while we are here.
Right now we hope it will stop raining long enough for us to do a load or two of wash.
